With the increasing requirement for private air travel, TAG have decided to increase its facilities at the airport by constructing a new hangar, apron and taxiway. Due to the poor underlying nature of the substrata Natta were contracted to undertake soil stabilisation works.
Scope of Works:
Natta was appointed as a trade contractor for the works associated with the hangar.
These included the soil stabilisation to the hangar area, excavation and reinforced concrete works for the post tensioned hangar slab,
door track, tie and perimeter beams, bases, holding down bolts, lift pits, dabico (service pits), internal drainage,
ducting and hangar floor slab construction.
