The project involved the construction of a new high tech office building located within the Chineham Park business park in Basingstoke. Working closely with the client and other contractors on site, Natta ensured that all works were completed on time and to programme. Our experience in SUDS construction was a big advantage to the client on this environmental friendly site, which included such items as permeable paving, rain water harvesting tanks and tree protection no dig areas.
Scope of Works:
Natta were employed as the groundwork contractor, the works involved the initial site clearance
and all earthworks, namely, cut and fill. Installation of a piling mat and pile attendance was carried out. The excavation and
then the construction of pile caps and ground beams. Internal and external drainage was carried out and a foul sewer connection
to the existing sewer. Permeable block paving was laid and a GOLPA surface water retention system installed. Other works
included new access roads and footpaths.
