Our contract comprised all associated ground works for a hotel extension near Heathrow airport, working adjacent to a live hotel.
Scope of Works:
Due to additional demolition works the tight build programme for this work was condensed considerably.
By working 7 days a week and extended hours at the Clients request, Natta were able to gain back 2 weeks on a
7 week programme, aiding the successful completion of the project as scheduled. The work included the construction
of reinforced concrete pile caps, some 2m deep, all with holding down bolts set in to tight tolerance. Reinforced
concrete ground beams, with rebates for drainage and brick shelf. Cast iron drainage was carried out under building
with air tight units and covers, with clay drainage including connections to existing sewers outside the footprint.
Powerfloated reinforced concrete mezzanine floor slabs were laid on steel decking and ground floor slab including
thickenings, lift pit and loading bay.
