Our works to this project included all substructure and drainage works to a new sports facility at the College along with a high specification finishings package to a unique complex.
Scope of Works:
The work carried out at St. Mary’s College was carried out over two phases, the initial works consisting
of ground beams on pile caps and all internal drainage. The finishing package entailed underground harvesting tanks and a large
capacity attenuation system along with all services and external drainage. A large amount of porous paving was laid for roads and
footpaths to irregular patterns and with resin bound gravel panels to produce a striking visual affect. Our work included reinforced
concrete pile caps and ground beams to support a pre-cast plank structural floor, deep GRP rainwater harvesting and interceptor tanks
including associated temporary works, large scale attenuation tank to trafficked area, laying approximately 500 m of conservation kerbing and
over 1000 square metres of permeable block paving, resin bound gravel panels between block paving. Installation of artificial turf in fills to
sports pitch and all service ducting and water and gas mains.
