Our contract comprised all associated ground works for a new high security fire control centre in Merton. In a congested site and with a delayed start due to previous activities we constructed high specification finishing works, to programme and budget. Natta completed additional works with a flexible approach, installing contemporary technologies such as PV arrays and wind turbine bases. We co-ordinated a large array of services around the building and installed CCTV and lampposts throughout the site. Our client Skanska was delighted with our works and has given us the opportunity to work on the next site they are developing.
Scope of Works:
The works included enabling works, site clearance,
cut and fill. The installation of piling mat and pile attendance. Installation of a 200 cubic metre attenuation tank and a 60,000
litre foul tank and 3 no. petrol interceptors. Photo voltaic cell arrays and wind turbine bases. The installation of foul and surface
water sewers, ducting and service trenches. Block paving was carried out and slabs to roof. An access road was built and soft landscaping
included the planting of new trees. The 278 works involved a new roundabout and islands.
