The project involved the construction of a large new care home and adjacent day centre. The build was traditional strip footings with associated blockwork, drainage and services. The works also included a large amount of external finishings including hard landscape macadam and paving, installation of a lake and associated footbridge and retaining walls.
Scope of Works:
Natta were employed as the groundwork contractors the work involved a reduced level dig and muck
away. Excavation of the sub-structure. Construction of reinforced concrete ground beams. Masonary to sub-structure walls to dpc. Foul
and surface water sewers including all internal drains and connection to existing. The construction of PPIC and PCC manholes.
Kerbs, edgings and slab paving including steps. Construction of tarmac roads and parking bays, speed humps, pedestrian crossings,
footpaths and road markings. Topsoil was laid to landscaped areas.
