The project involved the construction of a new care home in Northfleet. The works included the construction of a waterproof concrete basement and associated suspended in-situ power floated concrete floor on permanent formwork. Our package also required the installation of a new access, which we installed with our own street works accredited operatives. Natta also arranged for all the necessary approvals for the works from the council and liaised with the utility companies regarding apparatus clashes.
Scope of Works:
Natta were appointed as the groundwork sub contractorand the works included the excavation
and construction of a waterproof concrete basement with cast iron internal drainage to basement. The installation of a pump
station, reinforced concrete lift shafts, and traditional strip footings with block and beam floors tieing into the basement walls.
Metal decking to the top of the basement walls and poured the first floor slab. External foul and storm water drainage connecting
to existing manholes outside of site. All preparation to the carpark area including tarmac surfacing.
