Overview:
Due to the successful delivery of phase I of this project, Natta won the tender for phase II, a £1.3m contract to construct a five acre car park for 440 vehicles with all associated drainage, services, hard standing and finishing works. A single storey structure also had to be built with an associated base to house the oxygen tank to supply the new hospital.

Scope of Works:
The project included the installation of 3 No. 35000 litre retention tanks and 2 No. petrol interceptors, with associated alarms. A 12m long, 3m deep heading under the busy A306 and associated connection to the existing manhole. Althon and Aco channel drainage; Kerb drain and 4m deep 450 diameter land drain and Hydrobrake installation. Construction of 17m x 7m single storey building, including associated foundation, structural steel frame, brickwork, insulation and water proof membrane, ground slab and Kalzip aluminium roof. Road and car park construction Macadam surfacing and white lining. Timber cladding to sheet piles (cedar). Paving - Saxon slabs, Tescina and Tegula blocks, Tegula setts. Resin bonded surfacing, kerbs and edgings.
