The contract comprised all associated ground works for a new Tesco store with accommodation above and an adjacent mixed use block of stores and housing along with the construction of a large car park.
Scope of Works:
Natta successfully completed the drainage, foundations and ground floor slabs for a
large Tesco Superstore. The development also contained a stepped mixed use development that was also completed to a high specification inside
the proposed programme. The car park involved a large muck shift, the installation of celled attenuation units, harvester tank and interceptors.
The work included bulk muck shift and installation of attenuation tank, harvester tank and interceptors. Concrete foundations up
to 2m in depth. Concreteing of approximately 3600 m2 of steel fibre
reinforced concrete slab for the store floor and approximately 2000 m2 of powerfloat finished concrete slab for the back of house. Natta
also completed 1500 m2 of brush finished concrete for the delivery area. Laying of all foul,storm drainage and service ducts.
Erection of precast retaining wall sections up to 1.8 m high.
Laying of perfecta slabs and large areas of tegula paving throughout the mixed development area.
