Working within a consortium to design and install the temporary utility services required to 15 new high rise apartment blocks and 2 large temporary welfare facilities, enabling construction of the Olympic village. Natta undertook the design of the temporary drainage including the economic and environmental solution of utilizing an on-site sewage treatment plant rather than removing all waste material off site. To facilitate the proposed designs Natta interfaced with various parties other than just the client including the EA, Network Rail (CTRL) and ARUP (permanent works design) to ensure all appropriate approvals were obtained.
Scope of Works:
Natta was appointed as a sub contractor for the above project. The works liaison with the EA to get
any consents required. The installation of HV, LV. Water, CCTV, communications and street lighting. The installation of foul and surface water
sewers, pumping station, silt attenuation ponds, sewage treatment plant, petrol interceptors and outfall.
