Summary: This fast paced project consisted of the sub structure, drainage and all hard finishes for a data storage office block and multi-storey car park. The project includes 500 T of Steel and 4000m3 of concrete. Being a data storage facility there is extensive services work and the ground floor level is stepped with a suspended floor design.

Scope of Works:

The project involved the following works:-

• Pilling mat installation - including geotextile;
• CHD Pile break down;
• Pile cap construction;
• Extensive waterproofing (grace products - structure seal, granules and Sheet seal 226);
• Under slab cast iron drainage - both 4" and 6" pipe and 2No. in-situ concrete manholes within the slab;
• Service duct installation;
• Building ground slab construction - including 4No. lift pits + 2No. stair wells;
• Multi storey car park ground slab (Brush finish) - including 70m long retaining wall, 2No. stairs and 2No. vehicle ramps;
• Drainage - Clay (various sizes) with associated concrete manholes;
• Petrol interceptor installation.
