Summary: Our contract comprised drainage and external works associated with a large secondary school development in Swindon.
Scope of Works: The
school had a very elaborate external finishing package, with timber feature
seats, many kinds of paving, soft landscape areas with terraced gardens and
a pond. The hard works included a storm water interceptor tank, drainage and
large areas of concrete and tarmac paving.
Our work included:-
CCTV survey of slab drainage to confirm as built status prior to continuation
and completion of storm and foul drainage systems.
Installation of large interceptor tank with associated sheet piling
and temporary works.
Landscaping of large areas including an amphitheatre, pond with boardwalk
and quiet garden.
Construction of the school car park including drainage, kerbs and raised
feature block paved crossings.
Extensive block paving in 9 different colours and 4 different types.
Feature slabbing of an internal atrium creating chess board and planters.
Construction of timber sleeper seats throughout the site.
Grading for tarmac areas, tennis courts and cricket nets.
