Summary: The construction of a new supermarket, petrol filling station, 278 works, together with access roads and parking to serve the new Elvetham Heath Community of 2000 new homes at Fleet in Hampshire.

Scope of Works:

As trade package contractor Natta were responsible for the site clearance, substructures, drainage and external works together with all hard landscaping. The works were completed within 6 months, on budget, and the store was fully operational for the Christmas shopping season.

Specific areas of involvement are summarised below:-

• Site clearance and shredding of arisings from tree felling.
• Bulk earthworks and reduced level dig.
• Sheet piled retaining walls.
• RC Foundations.
• Brickwork and block work to foundations.
• Surface water and foul drainage.
• Service ducts.
• Installation of fire main storage tank foundations.
• Laser screeding of the ground floor slab with power floated finish.
• 278 works to site entrance.
• Construction of access roads, car parks.
• Block paving.
• Tarmacadam surfacing.
• Street lighting, road markings and signage.
• Hard landscaping and top soiling.
