Pinders Awards for The Hawthorns

Natta is delighted to report that The Hawthorns in Northampton, the prestigious independent living retirement community that we built for Avery Healthcare, won the Best Independent Living Scheme at the 2019 Pinders Awards.

We are in the middle of building our third care community in Kettering for Avery and hope that our successful partnership with them continues for many years to come.”

The Hawthorns was one of two awards that Natta was associated with, Astbury Manor in Bracknell was also shortlisted as a finalist in the Best New Care Home (Higher Development Budget) category.

The project involved the full design and build of a 7,637 m² Independent Living Community. The building is comprised of 61 Independent Living apartments of varying sizes, with cafés, restaurants and lounges, a cinema, recreation bar, indoor bowls green, hair salon and therapy spa.

2019 marks the 20th year of the Pinders Healthcare Design Awards. The Awards aim to promote and recognise the very best developments in all types of care-related property. Whilst, the Award categories seek to acknowledge the contribution made by homeowners, designers, builders and architects to the well-being and quality of life for those in their care.
