Natta has a first class safety record and aims to be a leader amongst similar sized companies in this industry. Natta have invested in The Construction Industry Safety Training Centre located at their head offices. This offers training to all Natta staff as well as the rest of the industry.
The Director responsible for Health & Safety implementation is Managing Director John E Whelan. “Why aim to reduce the number of accidents when we believe we can eliminate them. Rarely do you see actual figures quoted, but for the last £40m worth of work Natta have had one reportable 3 day accident.”
Natta are CHAS accredited and are members of CHSG. Site managers are all SMSTS or SSSTS. We constantly role out training courses and are currently are up-to-date with First Aid At Work.
In June 2009, Natta embraced the Incident and Injury Free initiative adopted by Bovis Lend Lease. We want to ensure that every worker goes home safely every day. This new culture is about caring for one another and demonstrating this care on a daily basis.
